Ok so here is the situation... I'm a graduate student studying architecture in the U.S. and have the opportunity to study abroad in the summer next year. There are two programs, one is in Italy and one is in Spain. Here is the skinny...
ITALY (6 week trip)
Start in Rome for a few days, then head to Florence and live/study there for 3 weeks. Then travel to Venice, Verona, Vicenza and some other beautiful cities.
SPAIN (4.5 week trip)
Start in Madrid for a few days, then head into Portugal for another several days. Back into Spain visiting Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao and some other small cities. The trip ends with a couple of days in Paris.
So... any thoughts? This would be the first time since I was 6 years old being back in Europe... I'm 25 now (I will be 26 when I go) so I'll get more out of the experience then. |

Everything I've ever heard about Spain has been the complete opposite of what you just said. |
