I was at a party in Seattle that idoru opened up for. He played technoy, minimaly, housey music. Around 120-125 BPM. So I craped this out.
Not sure it's worth a listen, mainly I want Jake to reply so I can see if I'm on the right track.

Hard to judge such a short sample, but it still sounded pretty good! I think the Open Hat might be a bit too intense for what you're aiming at, but that's personal preference. Nice percussion hits!

Owsey is right, can't give you my opinion because is to short.
Sound really nice for an intro to house track so I would say keep going with this, I can see a lot of potentials in there. |
