Why does that Single Ladies filmclip get so highly rated?
Is there something about it I'm not seeing?
I only saw it for the first time yesterday.
Personally I find this one better, the imagery, the combination of sign language and lyrics, the facial emotion, it just all expresses much more than Single Ladies (apart from it being a hell of a lot better song). And I still wouldn't say its the best filmclip ever.

Yeah that's very true for all the ones that try to be dramatic. I think they should never try to make video clips anything other than entertaining or abstract... any attempt at drama or people trying to emote in a film clip will always turn out looking like a cheap karaoke video.

UNKLE get some in amazing film-makers to do their clips, have to say that they're some of the best i've ever seen...
spike jonze's clip to their track 'heaven' is simply awesome, works so well with the music...
agree with the clip that is 'single ladies'.. no idea what the fantatics are on about with that, but at the same time i don't generally understand any of the hype that surrounds pop, so my ignorance is probably normal... :conf:
this one is ing mad too, and one of my all-time favourite tunes, again by unkle.. everything about it is just mad (the song especially, but the clip is mad too).
