Hmm... this looks interesting has anybody bought his cd? If so did you like? I am thinking of buying it. :D

:wtf:

Wow, for once quite possibly an actual moderately useful thread from you. I don't know how to respond.

Well I really liked the guys sound but I am thinking circa 2003-2004 progressive house when I think Sultan.
Is this going to be that sound? If so it will be good and refreshing. :D ethereal prog ftw
I haven't bought a actual cd for a while now.

I had a listen to the samples on Amazon. Good stuff. I won't buy the compilation as I pretty much never do anymore but God damn will I be picking up some of those tracks as singles. There's a bunch of absolute gems in there.

Mind you I've bought almost the entire Sultan and Ned Shepard collection anyway so that's not a surprise.

What are you going to do with those singles? :wtf:

DJ them?

See this is part of why the electronic music scene is in the state it is today. Everybody wants to be big dj producer! No disrespect to you personally (I don't want to come off like that) but what happened to being a fan and buying a cd every once in a while? I think that is important that some people do it. I think it is important that some people give back! I have no doubt that you can find this on torrent sites. But if nobody buys any music anymore there won't be a scene for you to DJ and produce in.

What I am saying is we got way too many chiefs not enough Indians...

Because I pay money for what I like and now have the option to with digital releases. Compilations are almost dead to me.

Plus yes, DJing is the other reason. Who the mentioned torrents anyway?

This compilation is supposed to be pretty good, although from what i've heard I wouldnt liken it to their old prog stuff that much - Ocean of Blue remix ftfw!

That new re-release of Rumblefish isnt that bad either.

I don't. A lot of people I know don't. From the sound of things, neither do you. Good job assuming that "everybody" does.

What you're spouting, ahem, saying, is bull. There are plenty of people out there that listen to electronic music just to listen to it. You're only judging your statement off of what you're seeing on internet forums and chatrooms. There is a whole wide world of listeners and fans that don't post on places like this. Those people and the people who "want to be big dj producer" buy releases like this. Please note that he never said he never buys anything, he just purchases that which he feels is actually worth his money. You wouldn't go around spending money on things that you don't like nor want, would you?
