Dear all promoters,

Armin and Markus are doing an Armin vs Markus night at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on December 5th.

This entails of them taking rounds of playing an hour or two each a couple times, with the last three or so hours of of the night having them doing back-to-back, track-to-track tag-teaming.

Anyhow, please make this happen somewhere in California.

Please?

Pretty please?

I am sure it'd sell a load of tickets. And it'd make a lot of us happy!

Thank you, good night.

I don't know if could get any better than that IMO :) :) :) :) :)

I'd travel anywhere along the west coast for this!

i would totally pay top dollar for this

As the only one whose seen this happen 3 times--sf, Miami, and Ibiza--I assure you svd or tyas with Simon Patterson would be superior to Markus and armin 09/10....AND in sf, the crowd would show up
DaveT
SvD vs Simon Patterson coudl be good. Just leave Tyas out of it. He has no reason to be included with the others as a DJ. He had one good night at Ten15. Everytime I've seen him (in SF and in LA) he has been nothing special at all. Not necessarily bad (though I thought he was boring at Circus)...just bland.

SvD vs Simon for too long might be overload though. Markus vs. Armin could go in more directions, IMO, and a better journey. I think it'd actually make Armin play better stuff and we'd get to see a lot of old school Markus.

And don't pull out "I've seen them this many times" thing. When has that worked around here....never...and we (including myself) all still do it!
R!CH
K Dave, well I'm just speaking from fairly credible experience, and I don't think anyone whose seen armin and Markus before they really blew up would disagree that they were both much better from 04-06
DaveT
maybe, but I don't think it means they wouldn't be great now.

I think it would be a long night of hearing all the great tracks they've played over the years. ANd not just the last couple.

And they are two DJs doing an event where it's about them and their tag-teaming later on. So it's an event they might be willing to do out here. Otherwise, I would have never made this thread.
R!CH
If they played anything like asot 163 pt 2 and gdjb 01-10-2005, ya, but I highly doubt it

Dave.Q
When is Markus back in the west btw?
