Having deployed numerous times, I found this show very interesting.... very slanted to the left, but, thats kind of how it feels in combat.
you need to also check out "Over There" I liked that one way more its about the invasion of Iraq...
The whole war is soooooo pointless. Lately I've been feeling really upset and depressed, like what my fellow soldiers and I did meant nothing at all... I lost LOTS of close friends for NOTHING.
and Obama is doing NOTHING to make it any better.
I ship out AGAIN in 2 months for Afganistan, 2nd time there. All I care about now is coming back again, and bringing my soldiers back with me.... I'm really worried now, I've been promoted and now I'm responsible for an entire squad of 12 troops, most of them BARELY 18!!!! and I'm only 24... I'm scared.... not gonna lie. I just got married and my wife is pregnant....
EDIT
My best friend just got back from Afganistan (lucky ****** is Air Force, short deployments) and they lost 16 people over 4 months...... in getting BAD over there. |
