| So my car was broken into at Western, smashed passenger window, stolen laptop and some ipod cables. Does anyone know if i can claim that with my insurance company? Is it worth it? Would my premiums go up? |

The damage to the window would be covered if you have All Perils coverage or Comprehensive Coverage.
The laptop and Ipod Cables would not be covered under the auto policy. They would be covered under either a homeowners policy or tenants policy as property temporarily removed from premises. |

| Further to Chemy's post... your auto insurance rate would not increase as a result of claiming under Comprehensive coverage, as there is no fault ascribed in such a claim. Your home owner's or tennents insurance would not increase due to a theft claim for the contents. |
