Sharks don't actually seek out humans as prey. We have too many bones to be easily digestible. Most sharks will bite a human once, a sort of experimental chomp to see what we're made of, and then happily let us go about our business afterwards.

Unfortunately, when the shark in question is 20 feet long and can bite another shark in half, it's not much consolation.

Mythbusters did it too, they determined that with the amount of trashing a shark would do once it gets you in its jaws (assuming you can still function depsite the shock of getting bitten nearly in half by a shark), you probably wouldn't be able to gouge its eyes out :p

If you bought it on DVD, that sale alone probably contributed to about 80% of the special effects budget, you should be proud!
