the TA rankings are much better than the official DJ mag rankings, here are the DJ MAG results, i cant belive markus is the same spot as last year and ferry is one spot lower while Dead****5 is #5 and Guetta is #3, but emery in top 10 is well deserved so are cosmic gate on 19, breaking into top 100 for fist time marcus schossow, Sied van reil, leon boiler, Myon & Shane 54

I'll tell you exactly how there was some odd movement. The constant crap in people's inbox begging for votes, mass fb messages, and myspace lobbying. I always have a problem with the official rankings. I like the TA ranking better because it is what people like and they're from people who are pretty into music where as the dj mag list gets a lot of random votes from lobbying links. |

Well I can see how guetta has moved up since he collaborated w/a bunch of mainstream american artists on his new album and more exposure...lots more people know who he is now if they already haven't from love is gone lol. I bet those idiots also think that guetta sings the songs that chris willis does lol!!! I hate when that kinda stuff happens but it's a great marketing scheme imo. I hate when idiots act like they know everything about all edm because they know who a few of the mainstream guys are...ugh. but thats the way it will always be and we can have something to laugh at.
all the top dj crap is a gimmick anyways...besides I tend to like the more low key guys and a lot of them are better. |

thanks babe! I changed the title of the thread to avoid having two full threads about polls. Plus, I think it will be more interesting to compare! :)
btw the DJ Mag Poll has officially lost all credibility and it has nothing to do with my particular tastes......:rolleyes:

they got leaked, they always get leaked 2 days before, just like last year.
ps these seem legit to me coz i spoke to shane, from myon and shane 54, he said DJ mag called them up for an interview, so he said they are dff in the top 100, but he didnt know what spot exactly. |
