Where would you go to ?

I got 4 weeks and a lot of cash to burn on a trip.
My main motive is to see something else. Something else on any scale (party, culture, murder, whatever it is). I don't want to end up with a Tyler Durden though.
Just finished watching The Beach which confirmed that Thailand is defo an option. Has anybody been to Thailand ?
I'm super open minded so if you're gonna recommend Burkina Faso, do explain why you recommend it.
So for those of you who have traveled enough, do share your experiences. |

i've been to south east asia a few times. love it. thailand was my least favorite to be honest. i found it a bit touristy, but it is the easiest place to travel around....so someone with 4 weeks may want to still consider thailand.
if i were you, i'd try and stretch it a bit longer and explore cambodia, laos and vietnam....that's where you'll really see some crazy ! then end your trip in the islands in south. come to think of it, i i did my 1st trip there in 5 weeks and saw all those countries.
or you can easily do an amazing 1 month trip through parts of indonesia. sooooo much stuff to see their. best beaches i've ever seen, tons of wildlife, and some amazing parties if you go to the right places. |

Fly to Singapore visit there. Hop on a plane from Bangkok air flight to Malaysia visit after that fly out of Malaysia go visit Koh Samui and party at one of the hot spots, I forgot what its called or if your lucky go to the full moon party. From that go to Bangkok for a day or two or five LOL from there take Bangkok Air to Cambodia and visit.
If I remember Bangkok Air pretty cheap, so it wont really burn a hole in your money.
If your in the area near the end of December send me a PM.
If you want to experience something Montreal to Paris via Air Canada in Executive class after get a flight with Thai Airways in business, seeing first class will just burn all your cash ;)

It be an amazing trip for anyone. Especially walking around in East or West Jerusalem. I just wish I was there longer for the so called parties in the desert :( Floating around in the Dead Sea seemed interesting, this is the best time to wear Crocs LOL |
