This is an interview I did with Paris Wang over the summer at Open Air Sundays @ Wokcano in Santa Monica, CA. You might remember some big events that happened there like Mark Farina for the opening party and Dave Dresden for Memorial Day Weekend. I was a resident DJ for Open Air Sundays and have been playing for Paris' Puresounds parties since 2003. Blaz Gallegos, a good friend of house music legend Eddie Amador and one of the original Circus Disco resident DJs from back in the 1980s, shot the video.
I cite my influences growing up in southern California, going to raves watching incredible DJs like Fester & Oscure, Jason Blakemore aka DJ Trance, DJ Lindsey aka Steve Lindsey, Christopher Lawrence, and DJ Dan; and also explain my motivations for DJing.
