This is a chance for all you up and coming DJ's to get out there and strut your stuff for one night and it just happens to be one of the biggest nights of the year. We are opening up the decks of both rooms at Filter on Halloween night for all those bedroom dj's looking to break out and also your chance to make some extra cash. Here is how it works. If you would like to play one of the twelve slots available on the night please send your name and link to a recent mix to [email protected] by no later then 3PM on Wednesday October 28th. We will then randomly pick 12 djs to play each of the hour long time slots. These djs will be contacted by Wednesday night and at that time you will be given and unlimited guest list to get as many as your friends out there to hear you play. The DJ with the most people to come in our their guest list will win $300 plus a bi monthly residency at Filter. The time slots and which room you will be playing in will picked randomly by all the names being drawn from a hat. So lets get on it and get those mixes over to us! |

Well Devin has to do something after the debacle that was the recent ATL Tiesto show...
I like open decks opportunities like this, but not when the people on the line-up are determined randomly, and when the night becomes a popularity contest instead of a measure of mixing. Why isn't the person with the best mixing, best track selection, and best crowd reading abilities getting the residency instead of some bloke who can spam a Facebook profile with >9000 'friends?' |

| If they are being picked at random what's the point of the DJ sending in a demo/mix in the first place :clown: |
