its just sad that clubs and promoters actually use this list in order to determine if they should brind a said dj to town. :(

I wish U were right, because then we'd be seeing alot more of these 3 guys in Miami. But DJs increase their fees when they get ranked high up on the list, and then clubs like Space are actually less likely to bring them.

In the end these polls are just popularity contests, 'DJ Idol,' nothing more. Weird thing is that so many people claim trance died a long time ago, yet 8 out of the top 10 "most popular" DJs in the 2009 poll are trance DJs.

i was thinking the same. i wish clubs or promoters actually used the list. we'd see Ferry, Markus, A&B, SvD and PvD more than once a year.
lucho
we will for sure

I like sander kleinenbergs outlook...this is what he said..

"just saw the dJ top 100, im actually in it.. i thought i told you guys not to vote for me!!!! well at least i dropped a few places! thx..

next year please help me get out of this top 100 with anti votes.. or give my vote to Armin.. like a sort of protest vote.."

WMC has been around for 25 years. tier lineups with less-and-less names & variety really started since 2008 and got much worse in 2009. Perfect example: Space 2000 to 2005 had name guest DJS (trance, house & techno included) just about every week, despite WMC. Now the techno loft is the only good talent Space has IMO, yet it is far from enough or constant. Mansion tries to book DJs, yet whoever is in charge there is clueless (other than booking Dubfire & Zabs) as they lost Tiesto, Schulz & Corsten, & have no real variety.

LMAO what a joke (well it's been that way for a while)

David Gaytta #3? ROFL. Further proving the more mainstream cheese you go the more popular you get.

Sucks for good DJ's up there like Markus who didn't even move from #8 but at least he didn't get bumped BACK because of these cheeseheads sitting up there.

Top 3 snoozefest.

Maybe this will be good for PvD so he can get back to his underground roots and play the we all actually wanna hear. No more mainstream crap.

agreed with av1. we used to get the top 10 on a monthly basis a few years back even outside of conference. now we get the bottom 50 at best. there hasnt been a booking ive been excited about(that actually happened) since probably SvD last year and i cant remember before that. i would still like to see Above and Beyond and Eddie Halliwell in Miami outside of WMC.

look at Vision's lineup in Chicago for a more balanced and satisfying lineup than any club in Miami. hands down
