ohhh what a night!!

got there at 10:30 to Carl playing some good deep house, then around 11:30 he picked it up and moved into some nice tech house. at midnight he played this insane remix of afrika bambaata's - planet rock which was bananas! then he played carramba (monkey mix) which sounded incredible on that system! the club was decently packed but nothing crazy which was nice. Carl really is the man and he kept the place groovin all night (well i stayed til 2:30 and went straight to work lol) oh another great highlight was when he played a mix of music is the answer!

pics and vidz to follow!

Wow Carl Cox really is one of the best DJs in the game - the guy's got perfect flow I swear.. Sorry I couldn't make it to the courtyard, I was in line for a solid hour even with an advance ticket! Oie... my fault though for showin up after midnight on a night like that. Overall a great night though, was absolutely insane to see him in such a small venue!

carl for the most night kept it on a tech-house vibe, but they were bombs!!!!!!, there were some parts in his set that were up and down
but for the most part it was a funky tech house set..with a few techno tracks thrown in there
i had a really good time dispite it being a lil too packed
good seeing you pvdobession...i hope you made it to work ok and didnt efff up lol
crowd went wild when he played this song also

Music was rock solid and as I expected (that is, no techno thunderstorms but funk de luxe). Really cool set, and Cox seemed to enjoy himself a lot. After 1:30 it became way too crowded, though. At time impossible to move, with lots of pushing and bad looks. Is that the rule or the exception in NYC? After the Halloween party at Pacha and yesterday, I'm starting to wonder if big-dj events in regular clubs are just to be avoided in this city...

I got there around 11:30, took me a half hr to get in. The place was packed and by 1 it was impossible to dance. It was a great night, Carl Cox was good, but not the best I have seen him. He had some really good moments, but sometimes he played some tracks that kind of stopped the flow. I still had fun, and enjoyed a great night, but I had to leave around 3:30, to drive back to philly.

amazing party. I too got there around 10:30 but I left around 3:30. What time did it end. Highlights were the Pink Floyd and Michael Jackson he played. I can't remember the Jackson song off the top of my head either and my video I can't make out. Such a good night.

I wish more headliners would play the entire night open to close like that.
