Difference in music

| For the most part, I can tell the difference between music genres, sub-genres, whatever you want to call it but I can't explain it for the life of me. How would you guys describe the difference between minimal house, tribal house, acid house, deep house, types of trance, techno, etc... |

It's not to determine whether or not I like it. I like whatever sounds good to me. But I feel like a jackass when someone asks me the difference and all I can say is I don't know how to explain it lol |

And with fusion of genres its get so complicated and annoying.
But to answer your question I dont think I could explain the differnce in words. Even when I was learning the difference people explained through examples.
Unless you are educated on how to talk about music its pretty hard. |

+1....it use to be if you were dancing it was good...if you weren't it was bad....nobody really cared what they called it. |
