Definitive 'club' track of 2009?

2009 has been different for me. Unlike 2008 there wasn't any real super standout track in mainstream dance music like Pjanoo was. Unless you consider the new david guetta tracks (since they're so played out on the radio), I don't even see it as part of the dance music scene anymore.
I'm not talking about niche markets here, just mainstream dance music in general, which I guess makes electro house the majority. I haven't really heard any real EDM anthems this year, since when I think back to certain years I associate tracks along with them. Eg, when I think back to 1998 I'd think Stardust's 'Music Sounds Better With You' and 2001 I'd think Modjo's 'Lady'.
I came up with this topic after I've read this: link and thought I might ask from some input of what other people consider to be the track of 2009. |

The reason that you cant really tell any 'good' EDM tunes is because 2009 in line with a few previous years has seen flagship producers abandon genres for new pastures.
But also dont forget the whole music industry going down the pan.
I can remember going out 9-10 years ago and even the ty laugh at EDM tracks were good.
Nowadays , I just feel damn old or out of touch.
So , unfortunatly i cant name a good EDM track this year. |

The most sensible answer, as it's not just "My favourite track". Even then, I think it's too specialist to qualify.
We're talking about a track that is played everywhere, all over the radio and TV, a major cross-over hit that even non-clubbers will remember in years to come. In the UK at least, Dizzy Rascal & Armand Van Helden - Bonkers has probably been the one. |
