| honestly? this is the usual TO clubbing bitching going on. we pay 10-20 at most to enter places like guv which is really peanuts compared to most other world class venues around the world and and that's too much? |

im still furious about that. it happened to all promoters guest lists on halloween AND sasha nights. dont tell us we have comps to give out if they arent planning on giving any out at the door. that way we dont promise people any comps. they made promoters look like jackasses.
and dont tell us we have a reduced list for a certain event if they arent going to honour it. makes us look like jackasses. |

I agree here, if you put on a list and told you were getting comp then that is the way it should go.

Sorry we are not all special like some of you (cough cough Nick cough cough) and aren't in with the top people.
Our friends are DJ's or photographers (guvernment employees) that are offering us list at reduced prices, which is the reason one might come out to the club for a Mark Oliver night or just a residents night where they might have gone to TiL or FW or whatever. Isn't that why they also have lists and offer it out to everyone and their mother? It's for promo purposes, if you offer a promo and go back on it I could see why people would go to FW instead.

I forgot about this party....wait...it never happened.....i remember showing up at 12 with a dozen+ friends and leaving, it happened that fast....yes it was disappointing at the time but the next day really i didn't give a ...it's just Sasha ;)

Its not a matter of feeling entitled, the point is when a promoter tells you you are comped you assume you are comped. And when you get there and the people at the door say "um there are no comps... and no reduced sorry" it makes the promoter and the club look like a jackass, which is basically exactly what jay just said. |

Anyone actually believe he was sick? Sure he missed the Toronto gig, but that doesn't mean he was 100% in miami. He could have 'gotten better' but still feel like playing in miami.
A day of rest can turn around a sickness... and it probably would cost him a lot to miss 2 shows back to back. With everything going around about cold/flu/swine, I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually sick. I could be wrong but unless anyone knows him personally or saw him down the street with his nose bleeding and sunglasses on... we'll never know. |

Well I'll agree with you whiners on one thing...
Reduced should always be honoured...
What they need to do is put a limit on the amount of list spots allowed...
