A friend told me I should ask you guys here as there have been some Power 106/Power Tools threads. From time to time when Power does the house and flashback mixes where they play breaks and house music (and sometimes on Cali Caliente) they play a housy track thats been around since at least 97 I think it has a male vocalist singing "gotta get it up... got to feel good" I know it must be a famous one since it gets played but I have never been able to find the title out. I think Richard Vission has played it in some of his mixes as well I was hoping maybe an LA local would know it since it gets played there every so often. Also, what do you guys think of Richard Vission?

The first time I came accross Richard Vissions Power Tools, I knew I found a gold mine. Something completely different and enjoyable from what I was hearing on radio. My first experiences and interest in house music/electronic music started with what I heard on Power Tools. I think the song your looking for is this raw house classic.
B-Code - Feel Good
There are other mixes of it, so snoop around till you find the mix your looking for. Richard also did an edit that he would play on Power Tools, so it might be that. Was too young to go to clubs at the time, but I can imagine this going down a storm, its fun but at the same time raw and deep.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I KNEW someone would come through thank you Kismet7 Its been ~12 years since I've been looking for the title I can think of another track that samples it (from 98) 2nd Heaven - The Feeling and someone recommended me a track by The Knife but it wasn't the housy version like you posted. Now I gotta find the track in a proper vinyl or HQ version I'm so happy!
Were you ever familiar with MARS Radio on 103.1FM in the 90s? It was an 'early' version of what we could consider Power Tools and they had the Groove International Radio as well. Swedish Egil has had a long history its good to see hes still in LA doing what he does best although I would question some of the events he plays at but thats a different story.
Since you recognized this one, theres another track on my mind that I never figured out the title to it was also played on Power 106/Power Tools around this era and I haven't heard it since (unlike Feel Good that gets played once in awhile) it was an early 'electro' sounding track it had farty synths with a female vocalist singing "Show, show me your love" (you've gotta show, show me your love??)

I have been listening to Power Tools since the mid 90's. Power tools was the first place I heard "Around the World" by Daft Punk. That track changed my life. Its great to see/know that EDM has been around LA even before it was trendy. Anyone remember a track maned "La Selva"?? it was hot around 97. Cant find it anywhere.
