some good ideas but overall the track seems too dull at the moment, needs beefing up and like para said, some better sounds...
msz
yes after a while after makin it, i can realize more things. You guys r def correct, kinda dull
msz
hmm i worked on this mix some more, almost finished but......... it still seems boring. Perhaps another lead or stab on the main parts, but, it will be less housey then i dont know.
This latest version is definitely an improvement over first one. Your drums and bass are going nicely together in very control manner with a support of arpeggiator, which beautifully transition in and out.
The issue which I have is with your pad (at 1:32), is kind of isolated or layered to deep, feel like is an afterthought addition to your song. Maybe if you change this pad to different sound, that may add some more needed color (frequencies) to this song and will feel more interesting and attention grabbing one.
You are going in the right direction with this song, so please continue work on it.
I will definitely give it another run when is ready, because this song I think has a lot of potential.
Good work man.
Can you see the light on the end of the tunnel?

You are not that far of with this song, so keep going with this one
and believe me persistence can win.
Stay cool and keep up good work man.

Don’t worry man, you are not alone. I’m not perfect, I guess not that even that good, but for me melody line in the song is the most important think which requires me to put extra attention to it. This is what drives or connect people with your song and make it more appealing to them.
After my melody line is establish my work is going into area of selecting some worm and dynamic/aggressive sound for my instruments.
On the end is the process of mastering and mixing it until you think you spend enough time and don’t like this song anymore.
Cheers from Seattle.
