Yes, but also it appeared to be close to the truth because what you just said perfectly fits into your own description of annoying people. You're the proof.
Also, you think that making fun of me still adds to your reputation on the board. Well, sir, it probably does. So please accept my congratulations on that.
And, finally, off. Don't reply. Thanks |

Yeah, because I'm totally in on the C0R cliques. I'm all about trying to look popular. Just ask Jennypie or Slylee what they think of me. Clown.
Fortunately for me, just saying things like "There are lots of idiots on the Internet" alone is not suitably symptomatic of the Kruger-Dunning effect. Someone who displays it spends their time with everybody in a thread disagreeing and outright face-palming at them. Kismet7 in the producer's section is a good example. He clearly thinks he has insight nobody else on TA holds, but his actual posts are often obviously flawed.
Show me one thread where I've acted in that way, and have generated that reaction, and I might just believe your paper-thin accusation. Until then, you're just a dull, irrelevant tard trying to punch way above his weight. |

i didn't assume you were literally speaking about that particular mental disorder. so i'm not implying that you have it, you know. i got it all wrong probably. what i meant was that many of those who complain about users trying to outsmart and out-wit each other, are basically doing the same.
"dull, irrelevant tard trying to punch way above his weight" is just your opinion and maybe a handful of other people. also, we usually hear opinions of people who are usually louder, thus the opinion does not necessarily represent the majority. can you prove me wrong?
but i can't say i don't care about that opinion at all, cause otherwise i wouldn't be defending my ass here, right? i'm quite used to different opinions but at the same time i'm sometimes disappointed. aahhh. oh well.. we're all mortals
sorry for the bad engrish |

i'm always defending myself on here saying i'm not as obnoxious/emo/attention whorish in person as i am in here, so i guess TA is my little outlet to be all me me me.
i'm the total opposite in real life...i usually put everyone first (loved ones, not strangers). |
The way I see it, nothing here matters unless it's entertaining. If you're the type to get all butthurt over the internets, what the are you doing here? You know?
Hafta say though, it's entertaining to see people lose it over this . Like, somebody 10,000 miles away doesn't like your internets persona. Oh ing baww.
That said, it's easy to see that some people only get their jollies here by being as pretentious as possible - which can often turn out hilarious - or be endlessly dry and droning amateur psychoanalysis that is merely a projection of their retentive social angst. SYSTEM-J I'm looking at you, much as it pains me to do so, you limey .
Either way, I think that everything valid about this forum (and every other) is exceedingly self-evident. If condescension bothers you... well, I don't know what to tell you, you probably work at a church anyways so I am sure you know where to find resolutions that will satisfy your mild sensibilities. In any case, 'taking it seriously' is only as relevant as you gauge it to be. I think it's exceedingly clear that drama is quite entertaining to people. |

i agree, but i would just like to point out (in my defense) that i only got all bothered by vividboy and jay because these were guys who claimed to be my "friend" and i had them on FB and we had a history as friends going back years (in eric's case). so after a while, i just started to think, "ok you're obviously not my ing friend, so off" and i admit it got personal. but once i made the decision to write them off as "friends", then i'm all good, but of course you're gonna see us get into it from time to time. that's just how it goes.
everyone else (like system J for example) i definitely take with a grain of salt and really dont lose sleep over people like him not liking me. if i really cared about every person who doesn't seem to like me on TA, i would say ive got some major issues.
not saying i dont have issues though, but that's not one of them:o
i definitely have an air about me in person towards strangers/aquaintences...not a cocky one, it's more like i just dance to the beat of my own drum and if u dont like it, piss off. i'd like to think i carry that air about me in here as well, although sometimes im just not in the ing mood and i'll have at it with someone who is looking to push my buttons (like u, wad). but trust me when i tell you that i'm over it within an hour. that's why you'll see me being nice to you again:) |
