Oh come on.....he's promoting a show he's playing at in Dallas. If he wants to posts some mixes and he's more than welcome to. I believe everyone is allowed to post mixes here. |

Dude, chill. He was promoting his show. I have no idea what fidget is and probably don't. But it's cool if he wants to promote.
Hope you had a good time, Jim. Would love to know what the atmosphere of that place is like now. Don't ever really go there anymore. |

That's what I heard. I heard it is also bring your own alcohol. That is pretty cool. We had to wait until 6am to get a beer this morning at Avalon in LA. Those 4 hours from 2am-6am can be pretty brutal sometimes ;)
Thank you to all the positive people in this thread. Your kindness is appreciated. Yes, I am trying to promote a show I'm doing and sharing my mixes with those who want to download them. There are certain people that seem to enjoy them. They may not be everyone's cup of tea, neither is AVB and Tiesto, but I usually get positive comments from people who like funky, driving dirty house and dirty trance.
If I were all about ME I wouldn't post my mixes for others or even DJ for that matter. I DJ for the people on the dancefloor and the people that come out to see me play and encourage me to keep on going. If it wasn't for them, music and DJing would be meaningless essentially. Sure, there would be great works of art to listen to, but music is meant to be shared with others. It is a bonding experience. Music is like a good friend that you introduce to other good friends and you eventually all become connected through the time you share together.

If it is allowed, I will take some video so you can see what the atmosphere is like. I'm guessing it is your typical grungy, raunchy, afterhours hang out for people that don't sleep during the night and like dance music. I can't imagine it being anything else. I used to go to Spearmint Rhino afterhours in Las Vegas awhile back before they shut it down and for those that like to party, it was one hell of a party. I loved how you could dance on the stages they had there and how breakbeat was really big back then in Vegas. I used to be a huge breakbeat fanatic, but somehow just got more into techy, progressive house over the years. They don't really make breaks records these days that fit into house sets and the general public is not a big fan of breaks. I have to say NAPT "Gotta Have More Cowbell" is one of the more recent breaks records to come out that I absolutely love. :happy2: |

I played in Los Angeles at Circus this past weekend. Temptation is this upcoming Saturday. I can't wait. I took a look at some of the pcitures posted on the Temptation MySpace website from October's "Technosluts Party" and it looks like a lot of good looking girls and a killer party. It looks like it will be a lot of fun. I can't wait to meet Aaron at the airport and then meet up with Jonny5. We are going to GO BANANAS. If you guys can make the trip out, I'd love to meet with you all and share some CDs and have some drinks together.
