Not been round here much lately but here's my take on this track. It's not quite finished yet and it's pretty formulaic in parts but it was more about learning a certain trick or two than anything else :-

| I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing this song or its remixes. I really like your interpretation of it - it's somewhat minimal and really highlights the vocals - me likey. :) |

Thanks again buddy.
Remember the white noise trick I mentioned? Hear it in the two note reverbed melody in the background ;) |

Not many people have this sense of melody and rhythmic with good understanding of composition and you are one of the few.
This is all what I can say, beautifully done remix.
Keep the music coming man. |

This is a difference between trying to do something and get it done, and you just did it.
Your work is appreciated here on this forum, so keep the music coming and lets the music rule the WORLD man.
Cheers from Seattle. |

the intro is beautiful, and the bass line is very fat, but it tails off after that. Vocals come in too soon and there's nothing else to retain listener interest. I'd bring an arpeggio or riff in before the vocals
Ur wasting the chorus by bringing it in that soon, should be
euphoric at the end. Could do with a more emotive breakdown.
Bassline near the end doesnt really go with the song.
Here's my version, also far from perfect
If ud be interested in working together on this, lemme know
(I used Logic)

Thanks for the coments :0
To be honest i'm pretty much done on this track, it was only started because somebody over at a non musician forum asked if I knew the song and could I do a remix of it so i've just thrown the completely un-altered original vocal in Cubase and done a load of synth stuff around it.
I also forgot I added an ending the other day and remixed it slightly :-

| Awesome remix, Really like the synth you used for the lead. You can obviously tell its missing some sweeps and impacts, so work on that and you'll have a pretty top notch song. |

Thanks :)
I may go back to this one in the future but at the moment I'm kind of done with it. I added a quick ending to it the other day and just wasn't feeling anything from it so decided to just render it and put it to bed.
I'll have another listen to it after Christmas though when I get some Focals or Genelecs and see if the extra space i'll inevitably hear is filled with any inspiration :thepirate |
