Well, I do know how to work on my own stuff, but turns out this wasn't a blown head gasket. My fuel control module failed, which in turn caused my #2 Injector to fail, which in turn caused my EGR Cooler to fail, and that may have caused my Oil Cooler to fail. Waiting to find out. It's a diesel, so it's not exactly easy to work on when you live in an apartment. Plus, I don't have the computers to hook up to this thing to get it right. So I'm kind of screwed and have to pay a shop to do it.
It's roughly $1800 in parts alone. $2900 total bill and 4 days worth of work.

I hear ya. I really really miss my garage, and i really hate how confined it is when living in an apartment. My house may have been a little far from town but it was so nice to have parties and not have to worry about cops coming till 3 am to tell us to turn it down and even then it was still pretty loud. plus i had really cool neighbors that had to have some kind of ideal about the corrupt that was going on there 9 years ago and never said anything. just just ask me to help them fix something and that be it.
I just really hate living in apartments.

Had it for a while now, 3 years or so. The Charger was a company car, I had the truck and the Charger for a while, but had to turn it in when I changed jobs. They pay me to drive the truck though, can't complain really. |
