Waste of time. There's almost seven billion people on this planet. In order to shoot and kill even 1% of them, I'd have to kill more than two per minute for the rest of my life, never sleeping.

There are two major forces in motion here, and they act in a symmetrical fashion so as one worsens, so too does the other.
They are not tied together per say, but they are related and it is a serious matter as theses shootings demonstrate.
