does anyone know here where i can find a good desk, not to pricey to set up my studio on. a simple desk with monitor boxs on top, or a good desk with rack support, and i can go the monitor stand option instead.

look at ikea, the old jerker is a standard production desk which you might be able to pick up on ebay ... otherwise they released it as something else now, but i can't remember what it's called...

otherwise just make do man, my desk is just some crap one my dad got from his old work with books for speaker stands etc...

don't needa pay 5k for a couple of speaker stands on a desk :p

man they're as expensive haha, maybe look at just getting some foam pads which are like 100 bucks from djwarehouse or anywhere for under the monitors which absorb a lot of the resonance from the speakers, then just use books or whatever to boost the speakers upto the right level...

unless you got some loose cash, then go nuts and buy some mad stands :D

will do , was looking at the monitor matts as well, good option i think if the dimensions are good for the desk to support the monitors. Its amazing how much of difference makes tho monitoring yor track with the monitors in the right place.
