Feedback always appreciated, anything constructive is always nice to recieve too!
This is a new track i have done, it does not have a name at the moment, all original, but i wouldnt know how to categorize it, its like a blend of trance and house, slightly techy. Please make your own judgement on this and let me know what you think.
Thanks again

Listening to it now, sounds pretty good
The breakdown around ~1:13 seems a little awkward, I really like the sound you've got, but maybe like fade it in while the other stuff is fading out, the gap between noises makes it weird.
Other than that I like it, what samples do you use for kicks? |

Thanks for your feedback torus, its much appreciated! I would like to put your feedback into place, but after listening back to my track, theres no real breakdown at 1.13 so i was struggling to grasp what you meant, if you could take a minute out to explain again, i would be very greatful, as i would like to amend that part of the song.
I also checked your tracks out on your myspace, and there sounding really good, different to what i would usually listen too, but i enjoyed every single one of them, some great chord progressions in the breaks also, keep that up mate sounds really good :) |

| I forgot to add, i used a kick sample from the trance elevation pack, just compressed it and eq'd it slightly, so it sounded a lil more punchier |

Hi Craig,
Let me start with this statement: I like what you have done already with this song and where you going with it. Concept and melody line look good to me but you have to watch out for over compression in this track – I think this is something relatively new that people get sick and tired of listening over compress music. Look at those sounds of your instruments, make them sound simple but the same time unique.
Keep going with this track, sound good for me man.

| Ok, this one sounds pretty good, I like the sounds you are using... but... the breakdown IS a little weird plus it kind of killed the mood when it just went silent. I am not saying its bad, I just think the silent space kind of kills the mood a little. Other than that the melodies, sounds, and bass line sound crazy! The bass line goes perfectly with the sounds it's really good this is a song I would play but please work on that break down!!! After the break down it gets nuts, pumped me up. |

I really like this.
The break doesn't bother me that much although in a club you'd get a lot of head scratching I think :D
One thing i'd say is the reverb on the main lead sound might be the wrong choice, it sounds a bit platey and metallic. Maybe try increasing the room size and rolling ogg the top end a little to make it a bit warmer.
Looking forward to hearing the finished version. |

thanks for that mate, thats something no one has mentioned about (Reverb on the main lead) And that was something i was a bit wary of. So i will also change that to the way you have explained to see if it sounds any better.
Thanks again :) |
