Gear for a live performance?

Hi,

I want to prep an experimental music live show along with live visuals generated by motion graphics software. I'm using Ableton Live for audio and I'm considering what software to use for my visuals.

I'm probably going to go with the Akai APC40 as a controller since Live is my DAW and that I won't be needing an external mixer for this.

I need help finding an external soundcard with multiple inputs (RCA or 1/4 jack, avoiding XLR and no digital) and especially with 2 stereo outputs (One for monitoring with headphones and the other for main mix). It also needs to be connected by USB, no firewire please.

And does anyone know any good VJ software that allows more than one stream of video to be shown on let's say, overhead projectors for example?

Any comment is of course very welcome;)

ive been noticing an increasing amount of people with the apc 40, seems like a good investment.

can only help you out with a soundcard, not the vj software.

i own a ESI maya 4 out 4 in, or 2 stereo in 2 stereo out. its usb
that has Rca, i recommend it because i havent had problems.

Theres also a Native instruments Audio 2 , which is rather new, and looks good to me. it uses xlr. (wonder if anyone has it here, maybe they can comment)
