ok... Peter Hook is giving it all that but the mix he does at 4mins is pretty appalling and for all his clowning around he's not actually doing anything really! I do like the tunes though....
As for Abel... the video is edited just perfectly so you can't really see how he gets out of that... what he's doing is playing two of the same record and just touching them in and out and dancing a bit... its a cool and original idea and would be impressive if he was doing it in time to a track that's actually playing!! Kinda sounds like two monkeys playing very spastic ping pong...
Sorry to be a doubter but I need more convincing....
I thought trance was about creating a sublime and seamless and original journey of sounds. If I was dancing to either of these two while outta my head I'd be wondering what the hell they were doing during these moments! I'm sure Abel can beatmix all day long which is why this video is novel... but other than that... what's this trick for?
Got any more?? Please correct me if I'm wrong... I'm feeling like a total twat now..
