How old is that track? Sounds like something made for Incunabula or some old .

It might sound cheezy, but nowadays everyone can do like that. Back when Autechre came out no one even knew where to start to make tracks like them.

Btw, if you haven't heard autechre yet, this if from their latest album - a fan made this kick ass video.

It's unknown, but it does sound a lot like their Lego Feet stuff around 1991.

But it doesn't really matter how old it is (ironically, if it really is from 1991 most of the people would consider it undeniable classic and not cheesy at all). The point is that it's characteristic, versatile and musically interesting, something a lot of these day's exclusive techno producers can't accomplish even if they try their whole career. Radio Slave, Adam Beyer or Jay Haze would kill to have a track like this in their opus.

Must be the parallel fifths? :D

Nah, it is a nice track. Much love for Autechre. Kind of a shame that age is often a barrier to appreciation these days, but I guess that is what you are bound to get with a musical form that moves with the technology.

I really can't see what you're talking about. You aren't fully satisfied with the tracks I posted because they're too shy and not masculine enough for the dancefloor, so you post a Delerium track, which I guess in your half-retarded world has all the attributes that the tracks I posted lack.

You're being trolled.

It is a very nice track. I don't think it sounds "old" as such. There are no sounds that scream a certain period. Nothing faddish about it. Good crisp production, as far as Youtube lets you discern. I think you're getting your Autechre fanboy on a little though, with the defensiveness of your comments.

What is the fascination with this stuff, garbage. Hope you enjoy.

The moment I saw you were the thread starter, for some reason I knew Autechre is going to be in it. :p

yeah, i agree, it's a pretty beautiful track. lots of space, very dynamic yet balanced mix, great drum programming, awesome hi freq acidy line. the chords are very simple obviously, but there is a ton of motion in the mixing of elements and the automation that really keeps it active and dynamic, and the simplicity of the chords in this kinetic context acts as a deep, calm base that the track can rest on when the squalls of synth work pass over and out. it's a track that can stand strongly alone at the end of a dancefloor set or on the home stereo on a saturday afternoon.

YEAH SYNTHY TECHNO

Speaking of Brikha, if you're gonna post something from him, at least post something credible such as this:

I love synthy music as much as the next guy, but those two you posted are way too synthy and shallow. One (Schadenfreude) could say even cheesy. BTW, what does he even has to do with this thread?

You definately cant take constructive criticism, buddy.
