penguins are amazing. they literally have feelings and a lot of human-like behavior even though they can't talk. i was watching some nature show about them on discovery recently. it's ing crazy how some animals are.
i can't remember the name of the animal but it's those cute little monkey looking things with the long tales that have black & white stripes on them and really cute faces...anyone know what they are??
anyway, the babies have to latch onto the mother and they all travel in packs but sometimes the babies are weak and they have trouble staying on the mom and the mom has to ditch them. but there was footage of this whole scenerio going down and the mother kept leaving the baby but would stop halfway and look back, like she felt bad. then she'd go back to the baby and wait. you could tell she was really struggling with leaving her baby behind it was really sad:(
