Well, I've always wanted to make that SVD bassline, the nice rolling one. And finally managed to get it right, so i created this whole track based off of that. This track sort of collides with minimal/trance/uplifting and influenced by SVD/dudersdadt a little. Really tried my hardest to make this somewhat danceable, so the DJ's on the forums can play it in their sets =). Made on FL9, and if anyone whats the MIDI or how to make the bassline just ask.
Keep in mind this track was started about 2 days ago, so I'm very early in the production process, so the mix isn't quite clear. And if anyone has suggestions about the melody/what to add please feel free to do so.
This is a hard one... I mean... It does sound good but I am not sure if I want to cheer you up for a style that is not yours. Overall I found the sound to be very good indeed, but anybody that listens to this will of course thing its Sander or won't see it as a positive thing (knowing how people are). I am sure that if you were able to do this you can do some original stuff of your own, then I can give a more broad opinion.
It's a great track though.

Thanks for the comment, I've always wanted to make this type of gritty SVD bassline and I finally got it. So this song is more of "experimental" for me, just trying to test out new sounds. But if this track is danceable I will send it off to some labels and hear what they think.
Cheers

you are really talented man, I have only listened to two tracks by you so far and both were excllent. You really captured sanders bassline. (Did you happen to watch his studio session and mirror what he said to make it? lol) The melody is also great, yet another track I cant wait to hear a final version of.

I don't love this sound, but that's just my preference.
It sounds good, for what it is, though... and don't worry, people mimic other artists all the time. As long as your not completely compying something, it's alright to try to acheive the sound of others... it breeds creativity in itself.

Can we have MP3?

Haha thanks a lot. Actually, I did watch the video and that was the inspiration, but i had no idea on how to make it. I did some research and some guy commented on how to make it. (has to do with quantization).
If you want I can make a thread on how to make the bassline.

Thanks man, at least you listened to it and left a comment, I can't please everyone.

Another excellent track, and I'm not comparing it to anything because I rarely listen to any SVD so for me it just stands up nicely on it's own.
The melodic elements remind me of Airbase and/or Vengeance/Denga and Manus without being derivative. The bassline works as you've intended, the pad sounds are superb and the entire track gels together nicely.
Great stuff.

Thanks for MP3 I will play this :D but is this also a remix of Inside Of You?
