You're not alone, brotha. I want to see this madness. Besides, reality shows imo are worth watching more than anything else.

The sad thing is 10 years ago when I was going to Factory and Neptunes and CPI every weekend I thought this was normal. LOL
Scoops

MTV once again doing a piss poor job representing the Jersey Shore....

Is there a difference? Both SI and NJ guidos are horrendous. I just want to know how old these people are. If any are above 25 + - get a fuking life.:wtf:

the only thing i can say about Staten Island is that both New York and New Jersey want nothing to do with that island

The way they talk makes me cringe! I love Chili's and the closest one is in SI so we go to that one. Sometimes a group of Mom's will sit behind us and omfg.. makes me wanna shoot myself. :nervous:

Most of Staten Island doesn't want anything to do with itself! :toothless

In all seriousness though, it's not that bad out here. It's actually become much more diverse than people realize. In particular, the North Shore, which in some parts, looks like it could be budding into a new 'Williamsburg' minus the pretentious trust-fund hipster asshats (see how long that lasts), has a large community of really talented artists from all facets getting together and doing some really cool stuff.

It's unfortunate that this crop, somewhat with the help of MTV, had to put such a stigma on the place. Not that it didn't already have it with the whole dump thing, forgotten boro, etc. Wu-Tang at least made it cool for a while lol

A friend of mine recently did a really good documentary on Staten, exposing the cultural divide. Here's the trailer, and if anyone's interested let me know I'll get you copy:

On Topic: Can't wait for this! Gonna be hilarious!

This is why you go to SOUTH jersey beaches. From Central NJ to North, its all Wankers. Seaside heights I think is one of the worst beaches I have ever been to

i have to agree the beaches are much better in south jersey

Avalon
Brigatine
LBI
WildWood

there are some good beaches in Central Jersey: Sea Bright, Spring Lake, Avon, Brick

Seaside and Manasquan are horrid beachs. Seaside alone is like a 3rd world country..

the only downfall with South Jersey is further south you go, the tier the food is except in AC
