Thanks for another awesome night Remo :D
Tired right now so will keep it brief for now.

I gotta say that I have mixed feelings about Cox tonight. He came on at 12:15 or so and I was not feeling him at all. Didn't play as hard as I thought he would. It wasn't until about 2:30 that he actually picked it up and started playing a little harder and to my liking. Sometimes I have a feeling that some DJs come to Boom Boom Room and play more commercial sounding stuff, thinking that is what the crowd there wants. Well it is NOT true!! Maybe my expectations were too high... Overall it was a good party and he played pretty good after 2:30.

I was expecting to hear TECHNO COX, but maybe that is my own fault and wishful thinking :(

Again overall was a good night.

P.S. Nice seeing you Jay :)

come to guv tonight....i think you might here some there.
VDub
No... See??? I KNEW IT!!!

I'll bet you a dollar a a donut that it'll be the same new tech house crap tonight...

Techno Cox died in 2006!!!

Those of you who like it I'm sure will be ecstatic but those of us who want to see a return will be upset...

I hope Im wrong... But I doubt it...

I don't know Nick.

He generally tends to bring his harder game to bigger rooms.

Stop the presses. Out of everyone in the past 4 years the only dj that has brought the house down to 4am has been Carl. Last night same thing. Thank god I wasn't subject to a night of blip blip beep beep blib blip. His classic house set was unreal, they guy is truly a music historian.

if your looking for techno maybe not the right dj, but if your looking to walk into a club and say wow this place is on fire, carl's your man. He did the same thing the night before at cielo in New York.

As for the party, .. club was jammed with hot chicks and people genuinley having a good time. Carl graced us with a 4 hour set spanning almost every genre of electronic music. Always a showman and always a class act.

Nobody throws a party like Carl....

Nobody

PivotTechno
VDub, you're putting Toronto clubbing up against an event like Dance Valley? Cox or no, that's like comparing soggy toilet paper to dynamite.
samhouse
It is pretty unfair to compare the two actually...

how can you compare any club to a massive outdoor festival
