i think its safe to say that everyone who attended last night loves big black cox.

5 hrs seemed too much for him and lots of filler tracks.
i still had good, but not great time. even if i was struggling to stay awake entire time lol.
overall carl's set felt like bit of old school cox vibe with chuggy, slamming tech mixed with some nice funk, except set felt like... tired
haven't been to the guv since feb, but i love how the sound system was balanced out so well. not stupid loud, and i could actually hear the mids. even standing in a 'deadzone' and sound quality was still decent
good seeing many TAs i haven't seen in ages. I missed my TA family
PS: Jon Rundell impresed me too. |

I was going to post about how much I loathe the guv, and how they screwed me over for guestlist again at 11:30.. and that paying $30 at the door sucks ass..
but those things are meaningless.. because last night.. was the BEST guv party I've been to this year!!!!!!!
No jokes. Big Black Coxx tore my hole so wide open!! :crazy:

Honestly a bunch of sorry ass, whiny, spoiled little s!!!
I paid in 45€ to see him at Space in Ibiza in 2003 for a two hour set!!!
If you don't like the price... Don't pay and go away....
Carl made me very happy last night and I wanted to stay past my usual 4am leave time but I was exhausted...
We finally had a great party.......

Steve Lawler was $15 at 1045 and $40 @ 1145. Believe me, you people got a good deal. And I heard the price went up again..

I have no idea how much he gets but I'm sure he's sufficiently compensated for 5 hours of work...
I too think $30 is fair for guv...much more than that, however, would be a rip off...this isn't Ibiza...the prices there are higher because it's well...Ibiza.
I think the reason why cribby was disappointed wasn't because of the cover per se but more because he was expecting to pay reduced since he was supposed to be on guestlist and got there at 11:30pm which is pretty early....I'm familiar with this feeling... |
