Redoing the studio

Since i have moved into an apartment i had to down size some of my stuff.
I just got a smaller desk not by much but it's still smaller and i think is better. still has plenty of rack mount spaces and so on. I just sod my MacPro to pay for my new MacBook Pro i bought about a month ago. I love this laptop. I can sit on the couch and produce music or sit by the pool pr out on my patio, I'm not confined to just my desk. And this thing is so much faster. Also sold my Yamaha monitors and got a set of JBL LSR2300 series and these things are amazing. best sound i have heard yet out of monitors besides Adam monitors, but i'm not spending 1700 a speaker for monitors to sit in an apartment. These JBL also have a device you can buy to you can make your room acoustically sound. pretty awesome. I also down sized my midi controller from a 49 key to a 25 key, this free's up more space to. I may sell my axiom 49 not sure yet. But it seems this down sizing have giving me more room and much better performing equipment. Im loving it. Now i just need to get y I Chat set up so i can talk to people face to face lol.
Just thought i would share this with you all.
Also the biggest perk about my job is getting free software, VST plug in's, filters, eq's, effects and ewhat not. Can't bitch about free but i wish we could choose what we wanted free. But they just list over stock and we grab it up lol. |

Hey man...remember Adam from the Flying Saucer pregame before the Above&Beyond gig earlier this year? He's looking for a keyboard and the 49 may be perfect for him. If you decide to sell it, let me know because I'm about 90% positive he'll wanna buy it. |

LOL i could see this turning into a bidding war.
Mine is not BROKEN so you wont need to buy a 60 dollar adapter to hook up midi to usb. and it's local so you can come play with it first ;) |
