I hear you, I totally understand, but I'm a cheap bastard and won't spend money on a movie if the general population hated it.
However, I will say that I thought Transformers 2 was pretty badass, but the "general populous" hated it for some reason.  |

True enough. Decent acting as well - Jason Lee was really excellent, I felt. And Kurt Russell, but I think he's always an interesting actor, whether he's good or not.

I was so horribly disappointed to find out he's a Scientologist. He was great in Vanilla Sky and Almost Famous. |

WHAT!?!?!? Jason Lee is a Scientologist!? !!! That is indeed very disappointing man. I loved him in VS and AF too... was looking forward to more stuff like that, then he went to network tv and presemted himself as a dumb hick.

| I suggest everyone to check this movie out and don't read or do any research about this film and just go watch it. This movie get's into your hear big time and made a lot of people think about things that science may not be able to explain. I definitely enjoyed it. |
