I've modified it so that Event Forum threads still show up in NYC, but with their title/date formatting cleaned up a bit.

I'm also going to work on a toggle so you can turn it on and off (whether you want to see event related threads in NYTA)... I think this is the best compromise since you're all so used to just talking about events.

Thoughts?

no more event talk in the main forum, until a week before the party.

the event subforum makes it really easy for people to visit your city. :)

i like this. i do like seeing the roll call threads, but could do without the obvious party listings from promoters in the main nyta forum. keep that in the events thread please. just my opinion.

I changed the way it looks in main NYTA now - see if it's more pleasing to the eye with the date now at the end of the thread title

yO Del - good looks on this but with the way things have been going recently, we might not need an events forum since people here in NYTA are starting to feel like we shouldn't post locations of parties and kinda have to be in the know to get down.

I agree, there is no need for the threads to be in both areas. I think it defeats the purpose of having the event section to begin with.

Ok... I put them all back in the event forum for now... since this is new, we'll have to see what works best down the line.

as for various promoters posting on here, theres really no need for that, esp those who create an acct JUST to promote on here. as for roll call threads, its a great way to connect :)
