I had a Professor in college that was to give an introductory speech for Philip Glass at some sort of ceremony - only minutes before he was to give it, Philip spilt a gravy boat on him. :stongue:
I guess they were great friends after that or something, which makes me almost-almost-almost famous!
I was actually watching Candyman recently and noticed he did the score. :wtf:

If you go on myspace music and search philip glass, most of his discography will come up with decent quality full-length samples ;)

First thing I think of:
nefardec
nice selections
long time glass listener myself, and have been fortunate enough to play some of his saxophone concertos.
i was lucky enough to see him do a live audiovisual performance of powaaqatsi in prospect park (brooklyn ny) last summer, with full orchestra.
he was conducting with one hand and (rapidly) playing basslines on a synth with the other. so awesome.
