The freaking best show of the entire year. LOVED IT! A&B was the absolute best set EVER (yes, above AvB). Filo & Peri followed up perfectly with just banging it out.
People told me I HAD to check out Glitch Mob. I have to say, it wasn't my cup of tea. It felt like a head banging rock concert. I guess in a way, it reminded me of being at an Infected Mushroom show. Boom Jinx was awesome, too. I don't remember who else I saw...a ton of sets. Had a blast. Well worth the hellacious drive through Thanksgiving traffic from Dallas and back. I will be back for Once in a Blue Moon.

| A lot less people than Future Fest and IMO a weak light/sound setup compared to Future Fest and Divas. Hope they at least broke even considering the turnout... |

yeah, i was very very surprised by the amount of people there. Seemed like there was a bigger talk about this one, more $ was put into promotion, and with a way better lineup. I was sure it was going to be packed. It looked promising about 11:30, but then it stopped growing from there. i was certain it was going to be bigger than FF.
I was also surprised there weren't any lasers. I thought they would be saving them for when A&B came on, then was pretty disappointed when they never came on. But what lights they did have were very very bright and colorful. So I was pretty happy with that.
Maybe something didn't work out with getting the lasers in time, perhaps? I'm sure they will have them for NYE. I'm looking forward to it.
The music blew FF out of the water, though. No doubt. |

| Thats the same thing I was thinking about where's the lasers. That's what was missing from the main stage.. I had fun overall! I love Austin ! |

I had fun. i was definitely surprised at how many less people there were than FF. also, i don't know if it was just my friend and I, but it sounded to us like they were having problems with the sound all night. the highs kept cutting in and out. it was really killing my mood cause a song would build build build and then the highs would cut out and it was a major let down. oh and where were the lasers...i really wanted to see those.
overall, i had a blast and what a great value for $20. |

Hmm, never noticed the highs cut out. The only one I noticed was the obvious 5 minute silence when F&P blown it up. lol
I do know that the bass was ridiculously vibrating. I mean, it felt like my face vibrated off. lol And I would get up between the stage and the crowd barrier for photos. My nose kept tickling and itching from the bass vibrations. |
