Well, Guetta sucked, more than I thought he would. Expected his new pop sh!t, but didn't expect the oversold idiotic crowd. DJ mixing skills was non existent. I could of thrown the girl behind the turntable who asked me "Where is Akon?" :D - she would of done a better job.

Can't wait for another old timer, Matt Darey, at least he hasn't gone commercial!

Z-Trip is the only person booked during the Consumer Electronics Show (also the same time as the adult expo) in Vegas? Of all artists to book they have him there again so soon? Hopefully more are booked at other venues that weekend as well.

I can't wait for Darey either. However I am sad that he only prefers to play new music. I asked to him to possibly play just 1 good old time classic and he said no only if there was a afterpary with old schoolers. :P I know people wanna push new music but what about what made him who he is today. I would kill to hear his remix of Planet Perfecto F Grace - Not Over Yet, on the funktion 1.

Can anyone recommend any clubs, bars, or anywhere to catch some good house and techno? This weekend? new years?

I will be here till jan 4th, nothing is really standing out in the list on the first page. Doesn't have to be big name dj's, local talent is actually preferred. That guy "smiley" at 2am plays some really good from what I remember.

A little help would be much appreciated. When I was here last summer there was so much to chose from every thursday and saturday.

Does anyone know the best place to be new years eve for strictly house and techno, no trance. Any info about what kind music will be at the 2am show on new years eve?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks! That last one looks promising, I'll keep looking in here for updates.

Any Denver TAs planning to check out Richard Vission tomorrow night? I'm visiting from SF for Christmas and am definitely looking forward to my first night at Beta. I'm probably more excited about seeing the club and hearing the sound system than the line-up itself, but hopefully it'll be a good time! :)

I'll be there :toocool:
