Sup folks. It has been a little while since i posted something, and the last little while i have had about 400 different ideas about the kind of set i wanted to put out there. I just could not focus on one, so i figured that i would do all of the above.
Before i go on any further, I also want to add that i WILL NOT be posting the track list for this one, or at least not right away. I want this one to be heard with the ears and not with the eyes. I realize that this will get me less listens, but to be honest it is not about that. A lot of you have shown interest in my mixes in the past, so i am asking you to trust me on this one and check it out. For those of you that have listened to my stuff in the past i can guarantee that there is a segment that is like the usual.
It is not that the tracks are secret or that none of you will know what they are, quite the opposite, i am sure many of you will recognize them. If you guys actually feel like putting together a track list, go right ahead.
Now i won't let you go in completely blind. The mix starts of very slow, jazzy and deep, moves into a little funkier vocal segment, then to mnmlish/tech house fist pump, and finishes with a little spacy twist. The last mix in is pretty short, and it was intended that way as the closing track is so nice (at least to me) and i wanted to play as much as i possibly could of it by itself. For the rest of the set there is a lot of layering and a few 3 deck moments for those of you who enjoy that sort of thing.
Anyway that was quite long winded. I really hope that you guys enjoy this one. I won't give the standard "it was my best one ever" , because i really am not to quite sure how i feel about it myself. I covered a good amount of territory in an hour, so lets cross our fingers and hope that you guys think that i pulled it off.:)

@ denys: It is just something i really want to do for this one. I think my track record is pretty good for posting complete and thorough track listings even including the label info.
A lot of people post now with the label info, but i can remember a time when almost no one did other than a handful of us that cared enough to show some support to those selling this music.
Like i said in the post, i am sure some of you will know many of these, as we all shop in the same places and look for tracks often, i just wanted to try something different for this one only. |
