Unfortunately for Mac users this plug is PC-only, but for those of you with PCs who are interested in binaural audio, here is the page for it:

More on binaural recording from Wiki:
| quote: | | A typical binaural recording unit has two high-fidelity microphones mounted in a dummy head, inset in ear-shaped molds to fully capture all of the audio frequency adjustments (known as head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) in the psychoacoustic research community) that happen naturally as sound wraps around the human head and is "shaped" by the form of the outer and inner ear. |
The point of recording this way is that it gives you a very enhanced sense of being in the actual space where the sounds were recorded. I think this plug does a reasonably good job of simulating the effect, based on the binaural recordings I have listened to. You can adjust the room size, head size, ear size, and distance from the "source" sound. I'm just playing with the demo now, the full version costs 20 EUR. |

sounds interesting but are these noise bursts going to make it annoying to try out?
-A short noise burst will be audible every 30 seconds.
In a software demo version is pointless. People want to put time into programming plugins and be entrepenuers, but do crazy like that to kill off sales. Let people try your software, if its good they'll buy it, and tell others about it. If its not good, noise bursts wont have saved you anything anyways. |

| Well yeah, obviously you won't be able to make a whole track using it or anything, but you can get a general impression of the function and sound of the plugin. The noise is not loud enough to be painful or even super-annoying. |
