I find it interesting for an English DJ to play and produce such tribal/spanish influenced records. Sort of like Luciano or Ricardo.

Why is it any more interesting for an Englishman to do this than a German?

Neither are Ricardo or Luciano. By your reasoning, Radio Slave is only 1/2 English.

Why is this weird? Just because someone is of a different heritage doesn't mean that they can't or shouldn't produce music of a different national influence.
