Quite an old track now but very memorable.
Im wondering if any of you guys know how they did that glide effect on the main lead? (1:35)

Hard to describe but its not a smooth glide, almost as if each voice has a different glide time. Anyway take a listen and you'll see :) |

Listening again it sounds like portamento as well as the pitch bend |

Sounds like portamento quickly followed by a note off note change (know what I mean?!?)
If you set the lead to a fairly slow portamento setting and overlap the next note with the previous one you get the slide and then note off/on to the next one for the pitch jump.
That sounded perfectly understandable in my head lol. |
