It's videos like this that really make me wish that I was 5 years older and got a chance to experience stuff like this.

In Miller/Mcguinty land this event wouldnt take place and if it did the riot squad would have arrested these kids for sure.

and you dont think a k-hole (where the drug totally cuts off your central nervous system) is considered an overdose? im pretty sure that the whole point of the iDance rally was to show politicians that raves were not all about drugs and to show the city that people do party sober.

BBB did own, hands down...Fun fur and candy ravers will still holding on, looking back I can't really judge though I was in Grade 9 and likely wearing a Chaps or Tommy golf shirt with freshly ironed khaki pants to match...

anyone remember Chris Sheppard parties...i.e. the one IN the CN tower??

I watch that video with a heavy heart as looking back iDance represents the END OF AN ERA. The last unified stand of 90's rave culture in Toronto. At the time it gave us hope that the city officials understood the magnitude of our culture. After the protest they said they did understand and ammended their rules banning raves - that looked fine on paper but new rules made it financioally not viable to throw big one off raves.

They succeed in shutting down raves. They killed the culture that once thrived in Toronto. I have great memories of that event but the reality is it was the last time 15,000 people into trance, jungle, techno, happy hardcore, etc partied together in Toronto.

You weren't too much later but yah you just missed the peak...

The scene back then used to affect peoples lives...

Some negatively but most positively...

Most of everything I have now from my job to my wife and son to my house and even my views on life, I have because I was introduced to the whole scene...
