The funny thing is that's what was playing when Guv first opened. Every Friday, I'd get decked out in plastic clothing and take the free limo from The Village down to Guv. The main room was gay on Fridays.

They played stuff like "Spin Spin Sugar", "Show Me Love", and "Where Do You Go".

I first went to Guv in the fall of '97, and discovered raving a few months afterwords in '98. The only other nightlife entity from that era that I can think of that lasted this long is Destiny.
