It was an AMAZING night. Way better then his performance in SD. I am surprised no one has spoken about it.

I took only a few pics, but i saw a few people with pro cameras so i hope some good pics come up eventually.

i made it over there for a few hours after checking out Dirty South for a while... def some serious energy in the crowd at Avalon! i know the word was the Sander nite did more covers but that main room was as packed as it could be and looked busier to me...

i really liked what Erick was playing but only caught a few hours instead of the 6 or so he played... wish i could have heard more. btw, anyone go to the private party with Erick earlier that nite? gotta go to that next time if they do it again like they have the last 2 times he's been here....

I could have gone to the pre-party, i got the invite through Morillo's manager Manny. We got to LA waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to late to even bother. Last time i went to the Morillo after party it wasn't my style, that crowd makes me sick.

I was at the pre-party and would agree. Open bar & good snacks which was great, fun vibe, but definitely an exclusive crowd as well. I got to meet and chat with Erick briefly so that was cool, Paul Oakenfold was chillin in there as well. My friend was DJing the pre-party so that was my in ;-). I had fun but it wasn't really a big deal...

What was better was being able to be on stage for Morillo's performance. He played from around 1 or 1:30 till 5:30 and it was an amazing set. Best one I've seen him drop (3rd time seeing him). Really great tunes, worked the crowd well, the set flowed well, etc. And then Patrick M from Space Miami came on after him, was a nice surprise and he played some good stuff. Club was still packed when we left around 6:30!

Man, that looks like it was a lot of fun! unfortunately I am yet to see Morillo live... Every time he has a show I'm either working or out of town. Bummer!
