Rock/Alternative Concerts in Toronto (Jan/Feb)

Soooo, Christmas is coming and I'm thinking about giving my lil bro a night/weekend out in Toronto for his gift. He's really busy with school, barely has time to go out with so much homework and stuff, works only a couple nights a week so can't really afford to go out and have fun. So I figured i'll treat him to a weekend out, all expense etc, Hotel, concert/sports tickets, dinner, night life etc... some quality bro time I guess lol.
He's not really into the whole club stuff or afterhours. So things like Guv/Footwork for a huge DJ are out of the question (Let's keep that aspect of my life a mystery for him ;))
So i'm looking for some good concerts or anything happening on Saturdays during the Jan/Feb area... I've tried looking on ticketmaster.ca and wanttickets etc, but nothing really jumps out. I want to get the tickets before xmas and stuff so there is acctually something tangible to give him on xmas day...
Any ideas?
PS - Was also looking for some tickets for Saturday Leaf games... but they're all sold out... HE WOULD LOVE that, since he's a huge leafs fan... if anyone knows any hookups on tickets? |

GNFNR would be in awesome as well!!! But... 1) Would they show up? 2) Are they going to play alot of the old stuff, or just some crappy newer stuff?

other than that track of his that became huge and played out way too much, he's actually a pretty good producer |

Jon Lajoie it is! Should be fun... Wanted to see what kind of tickets were left and it was almost done selling out the lower orchestral section so I just got them. I got Row Q 40-41, wich is all the way on the right, which is actually good for quick piss breaks and to get more booze!
Ticketmaster and their in convience charges tho :whip: $25 tickets ended up costing me $73 for 2!!! :eyespop: |

Same deal as last year... had a such a great time in Toronto with my lil bro for the Jon Lajoie show, I was thinking this would be the perfect gift for him again!
