Well coming from a Vestax VMC-004 It's day and night.
The mixer is an absolute joy to mix on. At first I was a bit worried about the studio faders but now I think they're perfect. They have a bit of resistance and feel very smooth. Everything on the mixer feels absolutely solid. No complaints really. Just have to make sure I dont accidentally press the transmute buttons while using the CDJs and learn to use the filters and LFO better. The filter is great btw, its not the "light" ones you get on the 22,it's the real deal. Now I know what everyone means when they talk about the sound quality of the Xone. |

My absolutely amazing girlfriend and her mom got me this for xmas. How cool. :)
Mixed on it for an hour or two, and it's an absolute pleasure to mix on. The gain knob thing is weird... it's not too hard to get used to, but I'm a bit disappointed that it's going to make it kinda impossible for me to flush-mount this mixer like I had originally planned. |
