I don't get why this is such a big deal. People who weren't on the list got in. They were still screened for everything. Security will be tightened, this won't happen again.

This. Also, I hate the whole use of the word "crash" in this instance. They didn't crash anything, they just managed to sneak in. Crashing would imply not only showing up uninvited, but causing a huge scene as well.

The rumor here is that the woman is going to be on Real Housewives in DC, which starts next year sometime. This may have been a publicity stunt.
